As you can see by this first battle, it too half of his team to get my Azelf down. I suppose he just quit to spare himself a lead sweep.

As you can see from this second battle, much like the first, Azelf not only doesn't have to set up rocks, he sweeps quite regularly. To this guy's credit, he actually finished the game, but not before Azelf neutralized his defenses.

Looks a lot like the smogon set right? Well the key difference between that and this, is that you don't act like a dumbass and explode imediately. In fact, with this set, Exploding would be really bad. First depending on the pokemon, use an appropriate move, (for example, Fire Blast on Metagross) and proceed. This set shuts down a lot of OU threats and leads, and if mishandled, like in the first battle, it can sweep your opponent's team.

i agree with this set, altho having explode is a good move to get rid of something u rly dont hav to take down with. unless u hav another exploder. i like it tho
